Models and ensembles overall agree that moderated trades and 
moisture with limited windward showers will prevail in the short
term. Exepct trade flow to at temporarily rebound Friday as mid-
latitude high pressure robustly builds well to the northeast of 
the state. An upper trough position settling to the west of the 
islands this weekend and persisting well into next week will pool
deepest moisture offshore, but should also initiate a downstream 
response to veer lingering island trades southeastward that may 
provide a protracted tap of shower fueling moisture to monitor.
