Trade winds will weaken this week as surface high pressure to the
north of Hawaii weakens and a cutoff low advances southward and 
settles north of the state by Friday. Typical windward showers 
will continue the next few days, but increased moisture may advect
into the region later in the week and next weekend leading to 
increased shower chances. The upper low looks to weaken around 
Sunday and become absorbed by troughing moving through to the 
north early next week.
