The trade wind pattern will be disrupted this week as surface 
high pressure to the north of Hawaii weakens and a cutoff low 
north of Hawaii moves slowly westward and eventually weakens. This
should bring an increase in moisture and some locally heavy 
showers to the islands. Upper riding and surface high pressure to 
the north should build again helping to reestablish easterly 
trades next week.
