A weakness in the upper ridge will persist through about Thursday
with upper ridging building back in north/over Hawaii through 
Saturday. By Sunday, a deeper shortwave will swing a cold front 
towards the islands early next week with increased showers and 
winds. Some uncertainty in whether a weak cutoff low lingers over 
the state into midweek next week or the shortwave is progressive 
and high pressure tries to build back in. There seems to be better
consensus for a more progressive shortwave but the ECMWF does 
linger a weakness over the area.
