Upper ridging looks to build back in north/over Hawaii through 
Saturday. By Sunday, a deeper shortwave will swing a cold front 
towards the islands early next week with increased showers and 
winds. There is still uncertainty in whether a weak cutoff low 
lingers over the state into midweek next week or it's just a 
general weakness in the ridge. The GFS solution of a weak low
west/southwest of Hawaii would bring in more moisture and heavier
rainfall potential but at this point seems to be the outlier
solution. This potential is worth monitoring as guidance has been
variable the past few runs. At the very least, some increased
showery activity is expected by the middle to latter part of next
week.
