A weak disturbance will bring light showers to the Great Lakes and Northeast into tomorrow. High pressure will build across the Northeast in wake of the weak disturbance providing quite weather into the weekend. Another weak disturbance will slide across southern Canada spreading showers across the upper Midwest tomorrow. An upper level disturbance moving across the southwest U.S. will reach the southern plains by tomorrow morning. With plenty of moisture in place from the Gulf of Mexico, widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop. A nearly stationary boundary will settle across the southern plains and Lower Mississippi Valley by tomorrow evening with showers and thunderstorms mainly north of the boundary.
