The potential for brief periods of snow showers remains a possibility through Friday night above treeline. For the Great Lakes and Midwest, cool high pressure will prevail through the early part of the holiday weekend. Scattered light frosts are possible across northern parts of the Upper Midwest and into southern Canada, and high temperatures will likely be on the order of 10-15 degrees below normal for this time of year.
