A front extending from the Upper Great Lakes southwestward to the Central High Plains will slowly move eastward to the Northeast across the Mid-Atlantic/Southern Ohio Valley to the Southern Plains by Monday. The system will produce showers and thunderstorms from the Upper Great Lakes to parts of the Central Plains that will, likewise, move eastward to parts of the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic by Monday morning. Rain will develop over parts of Northern New England Saturday evening into Monday. In addition, upper-level energy over the Central Rockies will move eastward Sunday night into Monday to Middle Mississippi Valley/Central Plains producing areas of showers and thunderstorms over the Central Plains and the Middle/Lower Mississippi Valley into the Tennessee Valley. This energy will also develop showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Central Rockies on Saturday evening. Another disturbance that will travel along the Southern Plains/Central Gulf Coast to the Southeast Coast will produce showers and thunderstorms over parts of Texas on Saturday evening and redevelop over parts of the Central Gulf Coast/Southeast Sunday night into Monday. Elsewhere, an increase in upper-level forcing will aid in triggering showers and thunderstorms over some of the elevated interior portions of the Pacific Northwest Saturday evening into Sunday.
