Upper-level low over the Middle Mississippi Valley will move southwestward to the Texas panhandle by Monday evening. The retrograding upper low will trigger showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Central/Southern Plains will slowly move into the Central/Southern Rockies while remaining in Western Texas by Monday evening. Upper-level high over the Ohio Valley will aid in directing upper-level energy rotating westward across the Southeast producing showers and thunderstorms over the Southeast Coast/Eastern Gulf Coast through Monday. A quasi-stationary front over the Northern Plains/Upper Mississippi Valley will produce showers and thunderstorms over the area through Monday morning.
