A quasi-stationary boundary in the Southeast will be the focus for showers and thunderstorms from the Southeast to the Central Gulf Coast. Some of the storms will produce moderate rain along parts of the Eastern/Central Gulf Coast through Sunday morning. The showers and thunderstorms will expand northward into parts of the Mid-Atlantic/Central Appalachians Saturday evening into Sunday morning waning to the Central Appalachians by Sunday evening. In addition, the showers and thunderstorms will be confined to parts of Southern Florida by Sunday evening. Additionally, an upper-level disturbance keeps showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Central Gulf Coast also on Sunday evening. In the meantime, a weakening front and upper-level energy will trigger showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Northern Plains on Sunday. Furthermore, monsoonal moisture and diurnal heating will trigger showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Southern/Central Rockies and parts of the Southwest also through Sunday.
