A cold front currently moving into the Upper Midwest will continue its trek eastward. To its east... another surface front will slowly ease through the Northeast tonight before washing out tomorrow. The lingering moisture and instability will act to enhance the chance for appreciable rainfall on Sunday from the Ohio Valley eastward. Behind the cold front... a cooler airmass will infiltrate Minnesota into Wisconsin... but the temperatures over the balance of the country should remain near to above normal. Scattered showers and storms will continue to be possible over the Southwest... especially over northern Arizona into Utah and Colorado. Precipitation should be virtually non-existent over the Pacific Northwest into the Northern Rockies. A Pacific system should only slowly approach the coast with a chance of light showers for coastal Washington by late Sunday.
