A front extending from the Lower Great Lakes to the Tennessee Valley to the Southern Plains will advance eastward off the East Coast by Wednesday and southward to the Gulf Coast States. Showers and thunderstorms will develop along and ahead of the boundary from the Northeast to the Gulf Coast, moving off the Eastern Seaboard by Tuesday night, while remaining over the Gulf Coast and the Southeast through Wednesday. A second front moving southeastward from West-Central Canada will move into the Upper Midwest/Great Lakes by Tuesday night into Wednesday. In addition, monsoonal moisture and daytime heating will trigger scattered showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Great Basin/Southwest and the Southern/Central Rockies through Wednesday. Furthermore, upper-level energy moving over the Northern High Plains southeastward to the Lower Missouri Valley, Tuesday into Wednesday will produce an area of showers and thunderstorms over the region.
