A storm over the Central High Plains will deepen and move eastward to the Upper Great Lakes by Tuesday evening. Moisture flowing northward over the Plains/Mississippi Valley will aid in producing light to moderate rain over parts of the Northern/Central Plains that will move eastward to the Upper Mississippi Valley/Great Lakes by Tuesday. In addition, rain will also develop along the associated boundary over parts of the Middle Mississippi Valley into parts of the Ohio/Tennessee Valleys on Tuesday. Showers and thunderstorms, some with moderate rain, will develop along and ahead of the front from the Central High Plains, on Monday,moving southeastward to the Southern Plains/Lower Mississippi Valley by Tuesday evening. Snow will likewise develop with the storm over parts of the Northern/Central Rockies moving on to parts of the Northern/Central High Plains overnight Monday into Tuesday morning, before mainly ending by Tuesday afternoon. A small area of snow will develop over parts of the Central Rockies on Tuesday evening. Additionally, showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Southern Plains on Monday into Monday night until the associated front meets the area of convection on Tuesday. Elsewhere, a front extending from the Northern Appalachians to the Central Gulf Coast State will move eastward to the Northeast Coast before lifting northward as a warm front over the Ohio Valley into the Northeast on Tuesday. Rain will develop along the boundary from parts of the Lower Great Lakes/Northern Appalachians to the Central Appalachians on Monday morning, ending over Northern Maine by Monday evening. In the meantime, weak low pressure off the Southeast Coast and high pressure over the Gulf of Maine will aid in streaming moisture into the Southern Mid-Atlantic Coast/Southeast Coast through Tuesday producing light rain and scattered thunderstorm.
