Short Range Forecast Discussion NWS Weather Prediction Center College Park MD 321 AM EST Sun Nov 10 2013 Valid 12Z Sun Nov 10 2013 - 12Z Tue Nov 12 2013 ...Temperatures will be 10 to 20 degrees below average over portions of the Northern Plains... ...A Clipper system comes and goes over the Great Lakes as another moves over the Great Lakes on Monday... A storm over Southeastern Canada will move eastward to Newfoundland by Monday evening. The system will produce rain and higher elevation snow over parts of the Lower Great Lakes into Northern New England late Sunday night. A second storm over Central Canada will likewise move eastward to Quebec by Monday evening too. Behind the associated front, cold high pressure will move southeastward out of West-Central Canada to the Northern Plains by Monday night streaming cold air over the Northern Plains. Snow will develop over parts of the Northern High Plains/Northern Rockies through Monday. Snow will also develop along the front over the Upper Great Lakes on Sunday evening and produce rain and snow over parts of the Great Lakes on Monday. By Monday evening, snow will extend from the Upper Great Lakes to Northern New England. Weak moisture from the Gulf of Mexico will intersect the boundary over the Middle Mississippi/Ohio Valleys and into parts of Northern Mid-Atlantic producing rain over that area on Monday evening. Elsewhere, an old front over southern Florida and easterly flow off the Atlantic will trigger showers and thunderstorms over parts of the southeastern portion of Florida through Monday. In addition, on Monday evening a front approaching the West Coast will produce light rain just along the Pacific Northwest Coast and the Northwestern California Coast.
