A deep storm over the Northeast will move northeastward to the Davis Straight by Friday morning. The system will wind down over the Northeast with light snow over the interior Northeast through Thursday afternoon. Moderate to heavy rain over Coastal New England taper off to light rain by late Wednesday night and ending by Thursday morning. Behind the storm, cold air flowing over the Great Lakes will produce lake effect snow downwind from the lakes through Thursday. A clipper system over the Northern/Central Plains will move eastward to the Lower Great Lakes by Friday. The system will produce light snow over parts of the Upper Mississippi Valley and lake effect/lake enhances snow over the Great Lakes through Friday. Elsewhere, easterly flow off the Atlantic will produce a few scattered showers along the East Coast of Florida and the Southern tip of Florida on Friday morning. In addition, weak upper-level energy will produce scattered light rain over parts of the Cascades of Washington State, also on Friday morning.
