A front along the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Coast will slowly move offshore on Thursday, while the southern part of the boundary lingers over the Southeast Coast. Showers and thunderstorm will move offshore over the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Coast on Thursday. An area of showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Southeast Coast into parts of the Central Appalachians on Friday. A storm over the Northern High Plains will move eastward to the Northern Plains by Friday. Showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Northern/Central Plains on Thursday morning lingering over the area through Friday evening with expansion into parts of the Upper Mississippi Valley on Thursday evening into Friday. Additional showers and thunderstorms will develop over the Northern High Plains by Thursday evening reinforcing the showers and thunderstorms over the Northern Plains by Friday evening. Meanwhile, upper-level trough over the West Coast will move inland to Rockies by Friday. Rain will develop over the Pacific Northwest through Friday. Showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Northern Intermountain Region and move into parts of the Northern Rockies on Thursday and Friday. Elsewhere, upper-level impulses over the Western Gulf Coast will move into the Central Gulf Coast by Friday.
