Post-Tropical Cyclone Matthew is well off the Northeast Coast and will move northeastward just off the Canadian Maritimes by Monday evening. Rain associated with the system over the Northeast Coast will come to an end by Monday afternoon into Monday evening. Meanwhile, a front extending from the Northern Plains roughly westward to the Northern Rockies/Pacific Northwest will move eastward to the Upper Great Lakes/Middle Mississippi Valley to the Central Plains and southward to the Great Basin/Central High Plains by Tuesday evening. The system will produce rain over parts of the Pacific Northwest to the Northern Intermountain Region through Tuesday afternoon.
