Developing storm over the Middle Mississippi Valley will move northeastward to the Gulf of Maine by Thursday morning. The system will produce snow over parts of the Central Plain/Rockies that will move to the Great Lakes/Ohio Valley an intensifying to heavy snow by Wednesday morning. The heavy snow will move into Northern New England by Wednesday evening and waning to light snow by Thursday morning. Showers and thunderstorms will also develop over parts of the Middle Mississippi Valley on Tuesday evening. An area of heavy rain and embedded thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Central Appalachians on Wednesday morning. In addition, showers and thunderstorms will develop a long the Central/Eastern Gulf Coast and move into Florida by Wednesday evening. Furthermore, moderate to heavy rain will develop over parts of the Southern Ohio Valley to Southern New England, moving into parts of the Mid-Atlantic by Wednesday evening. By Thursday morning, the storm will be moving off into Eastern Canada, with light snow remaining over parts of New England. Meanwhile, high pressure will develop over the Central Rockies moving to Texas by Wednesday evening/Thursday. The circulation around the high will aid in producing Santa Ana winds over parts of Southwestern California through Wednesday. Elsewhere, a warm front moving across the Upper Midwest will aid in producing a region of snow over pats of the Upper Great Lakes on Thursday morning.
