A fast moving clipper system over Ontario will move quickly eastward to Eastern Canada by Sunday. The storm will produce light snow over the Upper Great Lakes moving into the Lower Great Lakes into parts of Northern New England by Sunday. An area of rain will develop over the Lower Great Lakes on Friday evening moving eastward to New England by Saturday morning. Upper-level energy over the Pacific Northwest will move southeastward to the Lower Rio Grande Valley by Sunday morning. The energy will develop a storm over the Southern Plains/Lower Mississippi Valley by Sunday. The energy will trigger snow and lower elevation rain over parts of the Northern Rockies that will move into the Northern/Central Plains and the Middle Missouri Valley by Saturday evening. Snow and rain will also develop over parts of the Southern Rockies and move eastward to the Southern Plains by Saturday morning as showers and thunderstorms. As the system begins to move out of the Rockies, moisture from the Gulf of Mexico will flow northward into the Central Gulf Coast/Lower Mississippi Valley by Sunday. The moisture will aid in developing showers and thunderstorms, with heavy rain, over the Southern Plains, Saturday evening, moving into the Central Gulf Coast by Sunday. Moderate to heavy rain will develop over parts of the Middle Mississippi Valley/Tennessee Valley and into parts of the Southeast on Sunday. In addition, an area of sleet/freezing rain will develop over parts of Lower Missouri Valley on Sunday morning. Snow will also develop over parts of the Lower Missouri Valley too. A new boundary will begin to move onshore over the Pacific Northwest on Saturday producing moderate to heavy rain over parts of the Pacific Northwest Coast Saturday into Sunday.
