A storm over the Middle Mississippi Valley will move northeastward to Eastern Ontario by Thursday morning. The storm will produce snow over parts of the Central Plains into the Upper Mississippi Valley/Upper Great Lakes, ending over the Great Lakes Thursday. Snow will develop over parts of the Northeast into Northern New England Wednesday evening into Thursday morning. Rain will also develop over parts of the Middle Mississippi Valley and move eastward into the Lower Peninsula of Michigan/Ohio Valley by Wednesday morning moving to Southern New England by Thursday morning. In addition, upper-level energy following the storm will produce light snow over parts of the Northern High Plains into parts of the Northern/Central Rockies moving into parts of the Northern Plains by Wednesday morning before ending Wednesday evening. A new storm will move onshore over the Pacific Northwest on Wednesday and travel inland to the Northern High Plains by Thursday. The system will produce coastal rain and higher elevation snow over parts of the Pacific Northwest Wednesday into Thursday. Snow will develop over parts of the Northern Intermountain Region into parts of the Northern Rockies and Northern High Plains Wednesday evening into Thursday morning. Elsewhere, low pressure pulling away from the Carolina Coast will trigger light rain over parts of Eastern Virginia and the North Carolina Coast. Easterly flow off the Atlantic will aid in producing light rain and drizzle over parts of the Central Appalachians on Wednesday morning into afternoon.
