Upper-level energy over the Tennessee Valley/Southeast will produce showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Central Gulf Coast/Tennessee Valley that will taper off to light rain showers overnight before ending over parts of the Central Appalachians on Wednesday morning. In addition, a deep low near Northern Maine will lift northeastward to the Davis Strait by Thursday. Rain over parts of Northern New England will change over to light snow during the nighttime hours with the precipitation ending over the region on Wednesday. Meanwhile, a front moving onshore over the Pacific Northwest will move inland to the Upper Great Lakes to the Central High Plains by Thursday. The system will produce rain over the Northwest Coast through Wednesday morning and rain over parts of the Northern Rockies on Wednesday morning. As the front moves on to the Plains, showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Northern Plains/Upper Mississippi Valley by Wednesday evening and rain over the Great Lakes by Thursday morning.
