A front extending from the Lower Great Lakes southwestward to the Southern High Plains will become quasi-stationary across the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic westward to the Middle Mississippi Valley by Saturday. Moisture will pool along the boundary producing showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Ohio/Middle Mississippi Valleys on Thursday into Friday morning. Rain will develop over parts of the Lower Great Lakes/Northeast through Friday morning. On Friday the rain will mover into the Mid-Atlantic/Southern New England and into parts of the Central Appalachians. Meanwhile, another front over Southern Canada will move southward into the Upper Great Lakes to the Northern Rockies by Saturday morning. Rain will begin to move into the Upper Midwest on Friday evening moving into the Upper Mississippi Valley by Saturday morning while becoming moderate to heavy rain in intensity. Snow will also develop over parts of the Northern Rockies and parts of the Northern Plains on Saturday morning, too. Elsewhere, scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of Eastern Texas and the Central Gulf Coast by Saturday morning.
