Low pressure over the Northeast will slowly pull away eastward out over the Western Atlantic. The system will produce light to moderate rain over Southern New England on Saturday tapering off to light rain and snow over parts of Northern New England by Sunday. In addition, a weak front over the Ohio Valley/Lower Great Lakes will move southeastward to the Southern Mid-Atlantic by Sunday morning. The boundary will aid in developing light rain over parts of the Ohio Valley moving into the Mid-Atlantic by Saturday evening. Meanwhile, a storm over the Great Basin will move eastward to the Central Plains by Sunday evening. The system will produce higher elevation snow and lower elevation rain over parts of the Great Basin on Saturday morning with snow moving into parts of the Central/Northern Rockies by Saturday evening. Showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Central High Plains to parts of the Lower Missouri Valley by Saturday evening. Additionally, showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Central Plain/Middle Mississippi Valley on Saturday morning and over parts of the Southern Plain on Saturday evening. Moisture will flow steadily over the Plains/Mississippi Valley into the Upper Midwest Saturday into Sunday from the Gulf of Mexico. As the moisture increases, light to moderate rain will develop over parts of the Northern High Plains on Sunday morning moving into the Northern Plains by Sunday evening. Showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Upper Midwest into the Middle/Lower Mississippi Valley with moderate rain at times on Sunday. A front will move onshore over the Pacific Northwest late Saturday night and continue eastward to the Northern Rockies/Great Basin by Sunday evening. The system will produce rain along the coast from Washington State to parts of Northern California with snow at higher elevations on Saturday evening into Sunday evening.
