A storm over the Central Plains will be quasi-stationary through Monday evening. The associated front will extend from the Central Plains southward into the Southern Plains that will slowly move eastward to Middle/Lower Mississippi Valley by Monday. The system will pull moisture from the Gulf of Mexico northward over the Plains/Mississippi Valley into the Upper Midwest. Showers and thunderstorms will develop over Southern/Central Plains into parts of the Upper Midwest that will move eastward into parts of the Ohio/Tennessee Valleys and Central Gulf Coast by Monday. Rain will also develop over parts of the Northern Plains and expand into parts of the Great Lakes/Mid-Atlantic by Monday evening. In addition, snow will develop over parts of the Central Rockies on Sunday. Meanwhile, another front over the Pacific Northwest/Northern California will move eastward to the Northern Rockies and dissipate by Monday morning. The system will produce coastal rain and higher elevation snow over parts of the Pacific Northwest through late Sunday night. Snow will develop over pars of the Northern/Central Rockies on Sunday afternoon into Monday. The snow will taper off to a small area over part of the Central Rockies by Monday evening. Elsewhere, low pressure off the Northeast Coast will aid in producing rain over parts of New England Sunday into Monday morning.
