A slow moving storm over the Upper Great Lakes will move northeastward into Western Quebec by Thursday evening. The system will produce showers and thunderstorms from the Eastern Gulf Coast to the Ohio Valley/Mid-Atlantic moving off the Eastern Seaboard by Thursday evening as well. Light to moderate rain will develop over the Northeast and move into Southeastern Canada by Thursday afternoon. Rain will also develop over parts of the Upper Great Lakes and into parts of the Upper Mississippi Valley retreating to the Great Lakes by Thursday and over parts of Northern New England. Snow will develop over parts of the Upper Mississippi Valley on Wednesday morning changing over to rain by afternoon. A narrow area of snow will redevelop over parts the Upper Mississippi Valley overnight Wednesday. Meanwhile, upper-level energy over the Central/Southern Rockies will trigger a few small areas of light snow through Thursday morning. In addition, a front moving southward out of South-Central Canada will produce light rain over parts of the Northern Plains on Thursday evening.
