A storm over the Northern High Plains/Great Basin will move eastward to the Upper Mississippi Valley with a trailing front from the Central Plains to the Great Basin by Tuesday morning. The system will produce showers and thunderstorms over the Northern High Plains that will move into the Upper Mississippi Valley/Upper Great Lakes by Tuesday. Rain will also develop over parts of the Northern High Plains on early Monday morning and move to parts of the Upper Great Lakes by Tuesday morning, while extending westward to parts of the Northern Plains. Meanwhile, an upper-level low off the Pacific Northwest Coast will move southeastward down the coast to Central California by Tuesday. The energy will aid in triggering rain along parts of the Northwest/Northern California Coast through Monday evening. Rain will also develop over parts of the Northern Rockies on Monday morning and rain developing over parts of the Great Basin and Central/Northern California by Tuesday morning. Elsewhere, a dissipating boundary will aid in producing light rain over parts of Northern Maine through Tuesday.
