An upper-level low over the Southwest will slowly move eastward to Southern Rockies by Sunday. Moisture flowing northward out of the Western Gulf of Mexico will flow over the Southern/Central Plains through Sunday evening. The moisture along with favorable upper-level conditions will aid in producing showers and thunderstorms over the Southern/Central Plains also through to Sunday. The upper-level low will likewise aid in producing showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Great Basin and the Southern/Central Rockies Saturday into Sunday. Meanwhile, a front over the Northern High Plains/Great Basin will move eastward to the Upper Midwest. The boundary will aid in producing rain over parts of the Northern Rockies on Saturday morning. The front will intersect moisture moving northward out of the Gulf of Mexico over the Northern Plains producing showers and thunderstorms over the region that will move into the Upper Mississippi Valley by Sunday evening. Elsewhere, the upper-level trough over the Northeast will move eastward out over the Atlantic by Sunday. The energy will aid in producing showers and thunderstorms over parts of Northern New England through Sunday.
