An upper-level low over the Southern Rockies will slowly move eastward to the Southern High Plains by Monday. Circulation around the system will aid in drawing moisture northward from the Western Gulf of Mexico over the Plains. The energy will aid in triggering showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Southern/Central Plains and into parts of the Middle Mississippi Valley through Monday evening. Under the center of the upper-level low, rain and afternoon/evening showers/thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Central Rockies through Monday morning. Meanwhile, a front extending from the Northern Plains to parts of the Great Basin will slowly move eastward to the Upper Great Lakes by Monday evening. Showers and thunderstorms will develop along and ahead of the boundary from the Northern Plains to the Upper Great Lakes by Monday. In addition, showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Ohio Valley by Monday evening. In the meantime, weak upper-level energy and flow off the Atlantic will aid in producing showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Southeast through Monday. Additionally, upper-level troughing and a front sagging southward out of Southeastern Canada will settle across parts of Northern New England by Monday evening. Showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of Northern New England through Monday. Furthermore, an approaching front over the North Pacific will move onshore over the Pacific Northwest on Monday morning moving to the Northern Rockies by Monday evening.
