Closed upper-level low over the Southern High Plains will inch eastward to the Southern Plains by Tuesday evening. Circulation around the upper-level low will aid in drawing moisture off the Gulf of Mexico over the Plains which in turn will aid in the development of showers and thunderstorms over the Southern Plains through Tuesday evening. As the energy moves eastward, the showers and thunderstorms will enter the Lower Mississippi Valley also on Tuesday. Additionally, light rain and thunderstorms over parts of the Central/Southern Rockies will come to an end by Monday night, as the low moves eastward. Meanwhile, a front extending from parts of Northern New England across Southern Canada to parts of the Upper Midwest will aid in producing showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Upper Midwest on Monday that will move into the Great Lakes/Ohio Valley on Tuesday. The boundary will also aid in producing light to moderate rain over parts of Northern New England on Monday morning that will wane to light rain by Monday evening. Showers and thunderstorms will move into parts of the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic by Tuesday evening. Moisture and a weak upper-level jet streak will aid in producing showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Southeast through Monday evening. A front over the Pacific Northwest will move eastward to the Northern Plains/Great Basin by Tuesday. The system will produce rain over parts of the Pacific Northwest through Monday evening. Showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Northern Rockies/High Plains by Monday evening moving into the Northern Plains by Tuesday. In the wake of the system, onshore flow will aid in producing rain along parts of the Pacific Northwest Coast on Tuesday evening.
