A storm over the Great Lakes will move northward into Southeastern Canada by Thursday and become absorbed into the following system. Showers and thunderstorms will develop from the Great Lakes/Northern Appalachians southward to the Southeast through Friday. The southern end of the convection will move off the Southeast Coast by Thursday evening. An area of light to moderate rain will develop over parts of the Northeast Thursday into Friday morning. Additionally, showers and thunderstorms will linger over parts of Florida through Friday. Meanwhile, a front extending from the Upper Great Lakes to the Southern High Plains will move eastward to the Lower Great Lakes to the Lower Mississippi Valley/Southern Plains by Friday. Showers and thunderstorms will develop along the boundary from the Upper Mississippi Valley to the Central High Plains. The area of showers and thunderstorms will move northeastward into the Upper Great Lakes on Thursday and into Southeastern Canada by Friday morning. An area of light to moderate rain will develop near the associated surface low on Thursday morning into evening, before moving into Canada by Friday as well. The area of showers and thunderstorms over the Central/Southern High Plains will move Southeastward to Central/Western Gulf Coast likewise, by Friday. In addition, showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Southern High Plains Wednesday evening into early Thursday morning. An upper-level low over the Eastern Pacific will come onshore over the Pacific Northwest on Thursday. The system will produce rain over the Northwest Coast starting on Thursday morning, spreading inland to parts of the Northern Intermountain Region by Friday. Showers and thunderstorms will also develop over parts of the Northern Rockies by Thursday evening, expanding into parts of the Northern High Plains by Friday morning.
