A deep storm over the Ohio Valley/Great Lakes will lift northeastward into Southeastern Canada by Thursday evening. Moisture from the Atlantic will flow northward along the associated front aiding in the development of showers and thunderstorms, with heavy rain, over parts of the Mid-Atlantic that will slowly move into Northern New England by Thursday. Rain over portions of the Ohio/Tennessee Valleys into the Upper Great Lakes will slowly move eastward to the Eastern Ohio Valley/Lower Great Lakes by Thursday morning before waning to a few small areas of rain over parts of the Central Appalachians/Lower Great Lakes by Thursday evening. In addition, showers and thunderstorms over Florida will fade by Thursday afternoon. Meanwhile, a front over the Northern High Plains into the Great Basin will move eastward to the Upper/Middle Mississippi Valley and into the Southern Plains by Thursday. The boundary will have little moisture to work with from the Northern/Central Rockies eastward to parts of the Mississippi Valley. The strong upper-level dynamics associate with the system, will produce light rain over parts of the Northern Plains on Thursday. Upper-level energy moving onshore over the Pacific Northwest will produce rain over parts of Northern California and the Pacific Northwest that will extend into the Northern Rockies by Wednesday evening. Pacific moisture flowing along the Northwest Coast will aid in producing light rain over parts of the Northwest on Thursday.
