A deep storm over the Lower Great Lakes will move northward into Southeastern Canada. The associated front over New England will move northeastward into the Canadian Maritimes by Friday evening. Moisture from the Atlantic will flow along the boundary and aid in the development of showers and thunderstorm with locally heavy rain over New England through Friday afternoon. Pockets of rain will develop under the upper-level system over parts of the Great Lakes and Central Appalachians through Friday morning. A second system over the Northern Plains will move eastward to the Upper Great Lakes by Friday evening. The dynamics associated with the storm will produce light rain over parts of the Northern Plains/Upper Mississippi Valley Thursday into Friday. On Friday, the energy will move into moisture over the Great Lakes from the storm that move into Canada on Thursday producing rain over Great Lakes and parts of the Central Appalachians by Friday evening. Elsewhere, an approaching front over the Eastern Pacific will aid in producing rain along portions of the Pacific Northwest Coast Thursday into Friday.
