A storm over the Pacific Northwest will move inland to the Upper Mississippi Valley by Monday. Onshore flow off the Pacific will stream moisture into Northern California/Northwest through to Sunday evening. The moist flow will aid in producing light to moderate rain along the Pacific Northwest Coast through Sunday morning. The rain will become light on Sunday into Monday morning. Snow may develop at highest elevations also from Sunday morning into Monday. Rain and higher elevation snow will develop over the Northern Intermountain Region/Northern Rockies likewise from Sunday morning into Monday morning. The rain and higher elevation snow will spread into parts of the Northern High Plains/Central Rockies Sunday evening into Monday. As the associated front moves out of the Rockies and onto the Plains, rain will develop over parts of the Upper Mississippi Valley into the Upper Great Lakes, again, from Sunday evening into Monday morning. Rain will also develop over parts of the Central Plains on Monday morning. Meanwhile, a front over the Lower Great Lakes will move eastward off the Northeast Coast by Sunday morning. Light rain will develop over parts of the Northeast through Sunday morning. Northwest flow and upper-level energy rotating around and upper-level low over Eastern Canada will trigger light rain over parts of the Northern Appalachians on Sunday into Monday.
