Developing storm along the East Coast will move northeastward to the Canadian Maritimes by Monday morning. Snow will develop over parts of the higher elevations of the Central Appalachians and Lower Great Lakes/Northern Appalachians through late Saturday night. Light to moderate snow will develop over parts of Northern Maine tapering off to light snow by Sunday evening, ending by Monday morning. Moderate to heavy rain will develop over parts of Northern New England Coast through Sunday afternoon. In addition, rain will develop along the Southern Mid-Atlantic Coast through Sunday afternoon. Another storm over the Northern/Central Rockies will move eastward to the Central Plains/Upper Mississippi Valley by Monday. The system will produce rain and highest elevations snow over parts of the Northern/Central Rockies and parts of the Great Basin through Sunday morning. Rain will develop over parts of the Southwest/Southern Rockies and parts of the Great Basin Sunday morning into Monday. Snow will linger over parts of the Norther/Central Rockies Sunday into Monday morning. As the associated boundary moves onto the Plains, showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Middle Mississippi Valley/Southern Plains on Monday. Rain will also develop over parts of the Central Plains/Upper Mississippi Valley on Monday, too. Elsewhere, onshore flow off the Pacific ahead of the next system will produce rain over parts of the Pacific Northwest Sunday into Monday.
