A front over the Northern High Plains will move eastward to the Lower Great Lakes and southward to the Western Gulf Coast by Saturday evening. The system will produce light rain over parts of the Upper Midwest that will move eastward to the Lower Great Lakes by Saturday. Behind the front, snow will develop over parts of the Upper Great Lakes on Saturday. Meanwhile, an upper-level low over Northern Mexico will move eastward to the Eastern Gulf Coast and weaken by Saturday evening. Easterly flow off the Gulf of Mexico will stream moisture into the Lower Rio Grande Valley until the upper-level low moves off the coast of Texas by late Friday/early Saturday. The moisture will aid in producing rain over parts of the Lower Rio Grande Valley through to Saturday morning. By Saturday evening, some of the upper-level energy will move to Florida producing light to moderate rain over parts of Southern Florida. Elsewhere, low pressure off the coast of Maine will move northeastward into Southeastern Canada. The system will aid in the development of light snow over parts of the Lower Great Lakes into Northern New England on Friday morning before ending by Friday evening.
