A front extending from the Lower Great Lakes to the Eastern Gulf Coast will move eastward to Southeast Coast and off the Northeast Coast by Wednesday morning. A wave of low pressure will develop over the Eastern Gulf of Mexico and move northeastward to off the Carolina Coast by Wednesday morning. The system will produce light rain over parts of the Northeast that will end by later Monday night. Snow will develop over parts of the Upper Great Lakes that will wane over the Lower Great Lakes by Tuesday evening. Showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Southeast through Tuesday afternoon. On Tuesday, light to moderate rain will develop over parts of the Southeast that will increase in intensity to moderate to heavy rain over parts of the Southern Mid-Atlantic by Wednesday morning. Moderate wet snow will develop over parts of the Mid-Atlantic into Southern New England also by Wednesday morning. Showers and thunderstorms with moderate rain will develop over Southern Florida Tuesday evening into Wednesday. Meanwhile, a storm moving onshore over the Pacific Northwest/British Columbia will move southeastward to the Middle Mississippi Valley trailing a front behind the low to the Northwest by Wednesday. The system will produce light to moderate rain over parts of the Pacific Northwest and parts of the Northern Intermountain Region with heavy rain at times. The rain will taper off to light rain over parts of the Northwest/Northern Intermountain Region by Wednesday morning. Snow that will become moderate at times, will also develop over parts of the Northwest/Northern Intermountain Region that will move eastward to the Northern Plains by Tuesday evening. The area of snow will move to parts of the Middle Mississippi Valley by Wednesday morning, while the snow continues over parts of the Northern Rockies/High Plains.
