A developing storm along the Southeast Coast will deepen significantly as the system moves northeastward along the East Coast to the Canadian Maritimes by Thursday morning. The dynamic storm will produce light to moderate rain over parts of the Southeast on Tuesday evening that will become moderate to heavy rain over parts of the Mid-Atlantic into Southern New England Coast by Wednesday morning. The moderate to heavy rain will linger over Southern New England Coast through Wednesday evening. Wet moderate snow will develop over the Central Appalachians into the Northern Mid-Atlantic that will move to the Northeast by Wednesday evening. The snow will wind down to light snow over parts of Northern Maine by Thursday morning, Thanksgiving. In addition, showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of Florida on Tuesday evening ending by Wednesday morning. Meanwhile, another storm over the Northern Plains will move southeastward to Eastern Ohio Valley/Central Appalachians by Thursday, Thanksgiving. The system will produce light snow over parts of the Northern Plains that will move into Upper Great Lakes and the Western Ohio Valley by Wednesday evening. The snow will taper off to a small area over parts of the Central Appalachians on Thanksgiving. A weak boundary extending from the Pacific Northwest to the Northern/Central High Plains will aid in focusing onshore flow from the Pacific to produce areas of moderate snow from the Northern Intermountain Region/Northern Rockies through Thanksgiving morning. Light snow will develop over parts of the Northern/Central Rockies into the parts of the Northern/Central High Plains through Thursday. Light to moderate rain will develop over parts of the Pacific Northwest/Northern Intermountain Region through Wednesday morning. Light rain will continue over parts of the Northwest on Wednesday evening. Light to moderate rain will return to the Pacific Northwest Coast by Thursday morning, Thanksgiving, ahead of the next boundary.
