A storm over the Great Lakes will move northeastward into Canada by Monday morning. Showers and thunderstorm will develop along the associated front over the Central Gulf Coast/Southern Appalachians that will move eastward off the Southeast Coast by Sunday night. Light to moderate rain will develop over parts of Eastern Ohio Valley/Northeast that will move off the Northeast Coast by Sunday evening. Snow will develop over parts of the Great Lakes through Monday morning. Additionally, as the front moves southeastward across Florida, showers and thunderstorms will develop along the front and likewise move southeastward over the state through Monday evening. Meanwhile, cold high pressure over the West-Central Canada will move southeastward to the Ohio Valley by Monday evening. Circulation associated with the area of high pressure will produce snow over the Northern High Plains through Monday evening. Upper-level energy moving out of Western Canada will move to the Northern Plains by Monday. The energy will produce snow over parts of the Middle Missouri Valley to the Upper Great Lakes on Monday evening. In addition, onshore flow off the Pacific will stream moisture into the Pacific Northwest on Sunday and Monday. The flow will produce moderate to heavy rain over the Northwest Coast through Monday.
