A fast moving low over the Northern Plains will move southeastward to the Central Appalachians by Wednesday morning. The system will be lacking in moisture, but will produce a band of snow from the Northern Plains to the Upper Great Lakes that will move into the Great Lakes to the Middle Mississippi Valley on Tuesday. By Wednesday morning, snow will expand into parts of the Northern Mid-Atlantic while extending westward to the Western Ohio Valley/Middle Mississippi Valley. In addition, a weak front moving across the Northeast will produce light snow over parts of the Northeast on Monday evening. Another front over West-Central Canada will move southeastward to the Upper Midwest by Wednesday morning. The system will bring snow to the Northern Plains on by Tuesday evening that will expand into parts of the Upper Mississippi Valley by Wednesday morning. Additionally, upper-level energy over the Pacific Northwest will move to the Ohio Valley by Wednesday. The energy will aid in producing light snow and lower elevation rain over parts of the Pacific Northwest into the Northern Rockies/High Plains on Monday evening. The snow will move to parts of the Northern/Central Rockies by Tuesday evening. Meanwhile, a front over the Middle Mississippi Valley/Central Plains will move southward to the Gulf Coast by Wednesday. Upper-level jet dynamics and upper-level energy will aid in producing snow over parts of the Southern/Central Rockies into parts of the Southwest on Wednesday morning. Light rain will also develop along the front over parts of the Western Gulf Coast into the Lower Rio Grande Valley on Wednesday. Furthermore, upper-level impulses racing along the Gulf Coast will trigger scattered light rain over parts of the Central/Eastern Gulf Coast Tuesday morning into Wednesday.
