Upper-level energy over Texas will move northeastward off the Mid-Atlantic Coast by Thursday evening. The energy will induce a wave of low pressure over the Western Gulf of Mexico will likewise move northeastward to off the Southern Mid-Atlantic Coast. The system will produce light to moderate rain over parts of the Lower Mississippi Valley that will move off the Southeast Coast by late Wednesday night. An area of snow will develop over parts of the interior Southern Plains/Lower Mississippi Valley that will move northeastward into parts of the Southern Mid-Atlantic by Thursday morning and off the coast by Thursday evening. In addition, showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of Florida through Thursday evening. Meanwhile, cold high pressure over Western Canada will move southeastward to the Northern Plains by Thursday evening. Disorganized upper-level over the Northern Rockies that will move to the Southern High Plains in combination with upslope flow associated with the circulation around the high pressure will aid in producing snow over parts of the Northern High Plains and Northern/Central Rockies. The area of snow will move southward to the Southern/Central Rockies by Thursday evening. A wave of low pressure over the Central Plains will move southeastward to the Lower Mississippi Valley before dissipating on Thursday afternoon. Snow will develop over parts of the Northern Plains/Middle Missouri Valley that will move eastward to parts of the Middle Mississippi Valley/Western Ohio Valley by Thursday morning. Elsewhere, a series of weak upper-level impulses will move southeastward over the Pacific Northwest and along with weak onshore flow will aid in producing light rain and higher elevation snow over parts of the Pacific Northwest through Thursday. Additionally, low pressure over the Gulf of Maine will move northeastward into Eastern Canada by Wednesday evening as a weakening front over the Northern Appalachians dissipates. The systems will produce snow over parts of the Northern Appalachians into Northern New England that will likewise move into Southeastern Canada by Wednesday evening.
