Developing complex front extending from the Upper Mississippi Valley to the Central Plains westward to Central Rockies and Great Basin will move southeastward to off the Northeast Coast to the Mid-Atlantic to the Western Gulf Coast by Wednesday evening. Snow will develop over Upper Mississippi Valley/Great Lakes that will move to Northern New England by late Tuesday night. Rain will also develop over parts of the Middle/Lower Mississippi Valley to the Southeast that will move into the Ohio Valley/Northern Mid-Atlantic by late Tuesday night, too. In addition, an area of rain/freezing rain and sleet will develop over parts of the Middle Mississippi Valley to the Ohio Valley/Central Appalachians on Tuesday morning that will move to the Northern Mid-Atlantic by Tuesday evening. On Wednesday, moisture from the Gulf of Mexico will pool along the boundary will aid in producing light to moderate rain from the Lower Mississippi Valley to the Mid-Atlantic. A band of snow will also develop from parts of the Southern Plains to the Ohio Valley/Central Appalachians. Similarly, a ribbon of rain/freezing rain and sleet will develop from parts of the Southern Plains to the Lower Mississippi Valley. Additionally, an area of showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Southern Plains that will move into the Western/Central Gulf Coast by Wednesday evening.
