A front over the Gulf Coast and a wave of low pressure will slowly move eastward to the Central/Eastern Gulf Coast by Monday. Moisture from the Gulf of Mexico will overrun the boundary aiding in producing light to moderate rain from the Western Gulf Coast to the Southeast. The light to moderate rain will be limited to the Carolina Coast by Monday. Showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Western Gulf Coast and will move to the Southeast by Monday as well. Meanwhile, upper-level energy over the Northern Rockies will move eastward to the Northern Plains/Upper Mississippi Valley by Monday. The energy will produce snow and some rain over parts of the Northern High Plains that will move southeastward to parts of the Upper Great Lakes/Western Ohio Valley and the Middle Mississippi Valley by Monday morning. A third system off the West Coast will move onshore by Sunday afternoon and travel eastward to the Northern Rockies/Great Basin by Monday. The storm will produce light to moderate rain along the Pacific Northwest Coast and Northern California Coast Sunday into Monday. Snow and lower elevation rain will develop over parts of the Northern Rockies and Northern Intermountain Region by Monday morning. Elsewhere, a front over the Northeast will move eastward off the Northeast Coast by Sunday morning.
