A wave of low pressure and associated front will move from the Central Gulf Coast to just off the Northeast Coast of Florida by Tuesday. The system will produce showers and thunderstorms over the Central Gulf Coast to the Southeast that will move southeastward to the southern tip of Florida by Tuesday morning. In addition, upper-level energy over the Northern/Central Plains will move eastward to the Northern Mid-Atlantic by Tuesday. The energy will trigger snow over parts of Upper Midwest through Monday morning. Rain will develop over parts of the Middle Mississippi Valley on Monday morning. On Tuesday morning, the area of rain will increase to light to moderate rain. Meanwhile, a front over the Pacific Northwest/Northern California will move eastward to the Northern/Central High Plains by Tuesday. The system will produce light to moderate rain over parts of Northern California and Pacific Northwest through Monday evening. Snow and lower elevation rain will develop over parts of the Northern Rockies/Northern Intermountain Region on Monday morning and will linger over the region through Tuesday. Rain will develop over parts of the Northern High Plains on Monday evening and move into parts of the Northern Plains by Tuesday morning. Additionally, an area of showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Central Plains by Tuesday morning, too. More upper-level energy will move into the Pacific Northwest on Monday evening aiding in the development of additional light to moderate rain over parts of the Pacific Northwest/Northern California Coast on Tuesday.
