Low pressure over the Central Rockies will move southeastward to the Western Gulf Coast by Monday evening. The system will produce higher elevation snow and lower elevation rain over parts of the Northern/Central Rockies/Great Basin that will begin to wane by Monday morning, while areas of rain and snow will linger over parts of the Central/Southern Rockies by Monday evening. Showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Central/Southern High Plains and the Southwest/Southern Rockies that will move eastward to the Southern Plains by Sunday evening and into the Lower Mississippi Valley/Western Gulf Coast by Monday evening. Rain will develop over parts of the Southern High Plains on Monday morning moving eastward to the Southern Plains by Monday evening. Meanwhile, a quasi-stationary front over the Carolinas westward to the Southern Plains has a wave of low pressure over the Southern Appalachians that will move off the Southeast Coast by late Sunday night. Rain will develop over parts of the Southern Mid-Atlantic/Southern Appalachians on Sunday, moving off the Southeast Coast by late Sunday night. An area of showers and thunderstorms will also develop over parts of the Carolinas that will move southeastward off the Southeast Coast by late Sunday night, too. In addition, shower and thunderstorms will linger near the front over parts of the Eastern Gulf Coast/Southeast Coast on Monday. A boundary over the Northern Plains will move very slowly eastward to parts of the Upper Mississippi Valley/Northern Plains by Monday. Rain will develop with the system over parts of the Northern Plains on Sunday that will advance to parts of the Upper Mississippi Valley/Northern Plains by Monday evening. Elsewhere, front near the Pacific Northwest Coast will dissipate as the energy moves into Western Canada. Rain will touch the Northwest Coast on Sunday moving into Canada by Monday.
