A slow moving front extending from the Northern Plains to the Central Rockies/Great Basin will move eastward to the Upper Great Lakes to the Central Plains roughly westward to the Great Basin by Friday morning. Moisture from the Western Gulf of Mexico will stream northward over the Plains/Mississippi Valley into the Upper Great Lakes by Friday. Showers and thunderstorms will develop along and ahead of the boundary and ahead of the dryline over the Plains that will move into the Upper Great Lakes while continuing over the Central/Southern Plains by Friday morning. Meanwhile, an upper-level closed low over the Pacific Northwest will move southward to Southern California by Friday. Showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Pacific Northwest ending by later Wednesday night. In addition, showers and thunderstorms and rain/snow over the highest elevations will develop over parts of the Great Basin/Northern/Central Rockies and parts of Southern/Central California through Friday. Low pressure off the Southeast Coast will slowly move northward to off the Carolina Coast by Friday morning. The system will develop showers and thunderstorms over parts of Florida that will move northward to the Carolinas by Friday. Additionally, showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Mid-Atlantic and the Central Appalachians through Friday.
