A front extending from the Upper Great Lakes to the Southern High Plains will slowly dissipate by Thursday morning. Moisture from the Gulf of Mexico will flow northward over the Eastern Seaboard through late Wednesday night. Showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Carolinas to the Northern Appalachians through Thursday morning. A second plume of moisture will move northward over the Southern Plains/Lower Mississippi Valley into the Middle Mississippi Valley. Showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Southern Plains/Lower Mississippi Valley into the Ohio Valley through Thursday morning. Showers and thunderstorm will linger over the Southern Appalachians into parts of the Southern Mid-Atlantic on Thursday evening. In addition, showers and thunderstorms will continue over parts of the Southern Plains on Thursday evening, too. Meanwhile, a second front over Southern Canada will fluctuate over the Northern Rockies and the Upper Midwest on Thursday. Showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Northern/Central Plain on Wednesday night and move into the Upper Mississippi Valley to the Central Plains by Thursday evening. Additionally, upper-level troughing over the Rockies/Great Basin will aid in producing showers and thunderstorms over parts of the region through Thursday evening.
