Low pressure over the Northern/Central Plains will move northeastward to southeastern Canada by Tuesday. Showers and thunderstorms will develop along and ahead of the associated front over the Upper/Middle Mississippi Valley into parts of the Ohio Valley that will move to the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Coast by Tuesday evening while extending westward to Middle Mississippi Valley by Tuesday evening. Meanwhile, weak upper-level energy and moisture pooling over the Southeast will aid in triggering showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Southeast through Tuesday. In addition, upper-level energy over Texas will aid in producing showers and thunderstorms over the Lower Rio Grande Valley also through Tuesday evening. Another area of upper-level energy will aid in producing showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Northern/Central High Plains into parts of the Southern Rockies on Tuesday evening.
