There is an embedded moderate risk of severe thunderstorms over parts of the eastern Middle Mississippi Vally and Ohio Valley... Heavy rain possible over parts of the Ohio Valley... A quasi-stationary front extending from parts of the Upper Mississippi Valley/Upper Great Lakes to the Southern Mid-Atlantic will give way to a reinforcing front moving southeastward out of Central Canada by Wednesday. Showers and thunderstorms will develop along and near the stationary boundary from the Upper Midwest to the Mid-Atlantic through Tuesday morning. By Tuesday evening, the showers and thunderstorms will extend from the Eastern Ohio Valley/Tennessee Valley to the Mid-Atlantic waiting from the approaching next front. Meanwhile, the second front over Central Canada will move southeastward to the Lower Great Lakes/Middle Mississippi Valley to the Northern Plains by Wednesday morning. Showers and thunderstorms will develop over the Upper Midwest early Tuesday morning moving into the Northeast/Ohio Valley by Tuesday evening. By Wednesday morning, the showers and thunderstorms will extend from the Northeast to the Mid-Atlantic/Central Appalachians. On Tuesday evening showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Northern Plains and expand into the Central Plains by Wednesday morning. In addition, upper-level energy and moisture pooling along the Southeast will aid in producing showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Southeast through Wednesday. Additionally, monsoonal moisture and diurnal heating along with upper-level energy will develop showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Southern/Central Rockies through Wednesday. Furthermore, upper-level trough over the Northwest with embedded upper-level impulses will aid in producing showers and thunderstorms over parts of the interior Northwest to the Northern Rockies from Monday evening into Wednesday.
