A weak front, spanning from the Southern Plains to the western Ohio Valley, will stall and dissipate by Sunday. Showers and thunderstorms are expects along and ahead of the front through Monday morning. Warm moist air advecting into the Southeast states from the Atlantic into the Southeast, along with upper-level energy, will trigger shower and thunderstorm activity through Monday. The remnants of Erika will take near the southern tip of Florida. A region of heavy rain is likely to move over southern Florida. Flash flooding will be possible through Monday. A front moving onshore over the West Coast will move inland reaching the Northern Plains and Upper Midwest by Monday. The southern extent of the from will slow its progression over the Great Basin region. Rain will develop along the West Coast from the Pacific Northwest to Northern/Central California and persist through Monday.
