Low pressure over Northern Maine will lift northward into Southeastern Canada by Monday evening. Showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of Northern New England that will end later Monday night. The trailing front will linger over Southern Florida through Tuesday. The boundary will aid in triggering showers and thunderstorms over Southern Florida through Tuesday. In addition, return flow off the Gulf of Mexico and upper-level disturbances will aid in producing showers and thunderstorms along parts of the Western Gulf Coast eastward to parts of the Southeast Coast starting late Monday night into Tuesday evening. Meanwhile, a quasi-stationary front will extend from the Upper Mississippi Valley roughly westward to the Northern Intermountain Region/Pacific Northwest through Tuesday. An associated deep upper-level trough will aid in developing showers and thunderstorms over parts of Great Basin/Southwest and parts of the Southern/Central Rockies on Monday that will expand into parts of California into parts of the Northern Rockies/Northern High Plains on Tuesday. Additionally, onshore flow and later additional upper-level energy will move onshore over the Pacific Northwest producing rain along parts of the Northwest Coast on Monday and Tuesday. Furthermore, moisture moving northward over the Plains/Mississippi Valley will intersect upper-level energy over parts of the Central Plains/Middle Missouri Valley developing showers and thunderstorms over the area by Tuesday evening.
